This project challenges you to select an existing artwork, deconstruct its core elements and themes, and then create an entirely new piece that reinterprets its essence through a different lens or medium. The final outcome will be a tangible, high-resolution original artwork – digital or physical – accompanied by a brief artist statement articulating your conceptual approach and choices. This new work will demonstrate your individual creative interpretation, showcasing how you extracted, transformed, and re-presented an existing artistic narrative. For its size, this initiative focuses on delivering a single, polished output, emphasizing depth of thought and execution in a contained creative burst.
It is ideal for individuals drawn to analytical creativity, visual storytelling, and those who thrive on intellectual challenges within an artistic framework, enjoying the process of transforming ideas into concrete visual forms.
